New Place Pin Feature Connects Users and Hotels

Generating more referral traffic than Twitter, LinkedIn, and Reddit combined, Pinterest is stepping up their game once again! Their new Place Pins feature attaches an interactive map to coincide with each pin’s true geographical location. Users can also link external websites to the ‘Learn More’ button to provide pinners further information about each pin. Pinners are using Place Pins to either map out future vacations or document past vacation spots to share with their Pinterest community.

Hotels and resorts are capitalizing on popular photo-sharing platforms to drive more traffic to their properties. Sites such as Instagram and Pinterest are allowing this industry to be a part of the ongoing chatter as well as flaunt their striking décor.

The Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts created a Pinterest campaign called Pin.Pack.Go. The social campaign invites pinners to create their own Pin.Pack.Go board planning out their dream vacations. Once pinners’ boards are made, an online concierge then collaborates with users and makes recommendations on which of their properties would best fit their pinners’ ideal destinations. The Pin.Pack.Go campaign re-imagines the way travelers share and gather recommendations. Although the Four Seasons are not quite sure how much the social campaign has increased sales by, one thing is for certain…users are pleased with the real-time engagement and customer service they have received.

Word-of-mouth impacts the hotel business immensely. Research shows a whopping 90% of customers complete purchases based on peer recommendations. Whether a guest has a terrible experience or a delightful one, you can bet that they’ll share their story with others. With this in mind, InterContinental Hotels Group decided to embrace the digital social sphere by encouraging guests to post photos of their hotel stays on Instagram including the hashtag #DiscoverIHG for the chance to win either $100,000 or a million IHG Rewards Club points. This campaign was found to be incredibly successful.

Although there have been numerous successful social marketing campaigns, businesses still remain skeptical as to whether their online engagement has an significant influence on offline sales. How do you feel? Do you believe that social media has a positive influence on companies' bottom lines or not really?

After the capabilities, jot down the details you recall and talk about the general performance with friends. You'll require these details for the paper in order to substantiate your argument.
Evaluate the functionality.
Did the director miss any important opportunities to convey something you had been able to see in the reading for the participate in?
Would you have liked to have seen much more attention paid to what you perceived as critical passages, passages the director seemed less interested in?
Why would you have preferred this attention, and why do you think the director avoided giving the passage this kind of attention?
Consider the following practical aspects:
What kind of stage does the director have at his disposal? What kinds of restrictions does the stage impose in the director concerning movement and established develop?
Are the actors professionals, amateurs, or students? What restrictions does this impose relating to the director? Are the actors capable of dealing with the script's prerequisites? (Be fair to the actors into your assessment of their talents and also stage of their "craftsmanship.")
Creating the Assessment
Below are some tips for crafting engage in reviews:
Crafting the Introduction
The introduction should include the following:
The title on the participate in, the name in the playwright, and any pertinent historical specifics regarding them (other similar will work from this period? by this writer?).
The name belonging to the director, the location and date from the production you attended, plus the name on the production specialist (again, do you know of any previous get the job done by this enterprise? this director?).
The thesis of your examination, which should include (possibly in in excess of only one statement) the following:
A general impression of your relative success or failure of your production, according to what you actually saw and on your initial impression of how the enjoy should have been performed.
(Note that even if the production did not exactly coincide with your individual conception with the engage in, you should not think obliged to condemn the capabilities outright. Be open-minded and willing to weigh pros and cons.)
Papp's production of Lear captured all the horror of the world where love can't be counted on and where life is nasty, brutish, and appallingly short.
(Note that this thesis asserts that Papp captured the essence of what is from the textual content itself -- the expectations create by the thesis are that the reviewer will then analyze the methods by which the director achieved this effect.)
Smith's You Can't Take It With You made me sympathize with the notion that freedom must permit eccentricity and even, to your point, endorse it. Without that sympathy, the perform would have been reduced to pure chaos and would have failed to portray an American ideal of freedom.
(This thesis suggests that "sympathy" was the director's intention. Note also that the reviewer gives a effective indication of what he/she expected to find out during the production.)
Since you will not be expected to discuss all aspects of your production, focus your thesis on an individual or two major concerns that the overall performance has or has not addressed. Examine your assignment carefully to come across out which aspects from the capabilities are to be emphasized within your examine.
In You Can't Take It With You . the acting by the family members to the open, exposed stage displayed an innocent and vigorous freedom, in the process as a proud independence in their confrontation with accepted norms of behavior.
Crafting the Statement and Summary
Include a brief thematic summary (but not a plot summary) of your participate in, and service that summary with concrete evidence from the textual content.
You could include this summary inside the introduction; or, if you want to expand the summary, include it inside a separate paragraph following the introduction.
Composing the Body for the Paper: The Overview
Remember that within the body from the paper you might be obliged to deal specifically with every element from the production that you choose to mentioned inside the introduction and thesis.
In order to give your overview a tight internal logic and cohesiveness, you should also discuss these things around the order that you choose to outlined during the introduction. These types of points of discussion might possibly include the non-technical (acting, directing) and/or the technical (lighting, scenery, costumes) aspects within the production.
For just about every element you discuss:
Describe: In as brief and precise a manner as feasible, describe in detail the physical aspects of what you saw performed. Keep in mind in the least times that whatever you include must in some way contribute to the assertion you made inside your introduction and thesis. Focus on particular scenes or performances that will supply the evidence for your personal final evaluation within the enjoy.
The tempest scene in Lear utilized a particularly hostile established in order to universalize the suffering depicted throughout the engage in. The lights had been dimmed plus the backdrop was flat black. Against this backdrop were being propped, in no particular order, seven skulls that looked out over the events to come.
(Note the vivid description of what was seen, along with the use of detail to convey that vividness. The passage will deliver the results nicely as evidence for an overall, positive evaluation in the production.)
Interpret, Analyze, Evaluate: This part with the paper requires the foremost thought and organization and consequently receives the foremost attention from your reader. After you have concluded describing important aspects of your production, proceed to evaluate them.
For example, you would need to get to answer the following questions regarding the last description of Lear .
Why had been the lights dimmed with the beginning within the scene? (shock effect? slow unfolding of horror?)
Why was the backdrop painted black? (contrast? mood?)
Why was there no order to the skulls? Why seven? (emblem of disorder or chaos? significance in range?)
In other words, assume that everything applied in production has significance, but don't panic if you ever cannot pick "answers" for all the questions raised by what you see around the production.
Around the evaluation, you may be given the opportunity to attack likewise as commend the effectiveness; if the production fails to answer questions that you simply come to feel require answers, then say so. If the question or problems are relatively minor, ignore them. Don't quibble with the expense of missing the far more important concerns.
Producing the Summary and Summary
Your summary should not merely recapitulate your thesis within a mechanical way.
Rather, you should try to clearly show why your response to the engage in is valid and significant, according to what you have described around the body belonging to the paper.
Do not increase any significant new material, but don't be afraid to leave your reader with something to think about.
For further detail you may want take the Producing Center workshop entitled Literary Analysis. No Problem!.
